This version of garlic bread is easy and goes well with pasta, soup or on its own as an afternoon snack.
The base is Roasted Garlic & Herb Butter which goes great on bread, but can also be spread on grilled veggies or as an extra rich addition to steak.
This is a super simple way to take a store-bought loaf and give it 'fresh from the oven' taste.
Ingredients
1/2 - 1 Pack of Roasted Garlic & Herb Dipping Oil Mix.
1 - 2 Sticks of Salted Butter (softened)
French or Italian Bread
Directions
Use one packet of mix per 2 sticks of butter. Use one stick per loaf of bread.
Soften butter at room temperature for an hour. Mix 1/2 packet with one stick of butter (or the whole pack with 2 sticks). Let sit at room temperature for at least an hour or refrigerate for 4 hours.
When butter is ready, preheat over to 350 degrees. Slice bread from the top so that the knife almost reaches the bottom, but is still held together.
Use a butter knife or small spatula to spread the butter mixture on both sides of the bread in each slice. Make sure to coat each side well.
Wrap buttered bread in foil. Place in the oven for 10 minutes. Then unwrap and place back in the oven for 3-4 minutes to add a little crispiness.
Serve hot. Pop in the toaster oven or regular oven for 2-3 minutes to reheat any leftovers.
Store leftover garlic & herb butter in the refrigerator.
